Dhaka: Chief Adviser to the interim government Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the casualties in a tragic Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crash on the Milestone School and College campus at Diabari in the capital today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Professor Yunus conveyed his condolences, stating, "I express deep shock and sorrow over the casualties in the plane crash." He highlighted the irreparable loss suffered by both Air Force personnel and the community at Milestone School and College, including students, guardians, teachers, and staff.
"This is a moment of profound grief for the nation," he added. Professor Yunus also wished a speedy recovery to the injured and instructed all relevant authorities, including hospitals, to prioritize the situation.
Furthermore, the Chief Adviser assured that the government would initiate a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident and extend all necessary support in this regard.
