Shariatpur: The district administration on Tuesday afternoon distributed financial assistance and Eid items among two martyrs’ families and 43 injured of the July-August uprising. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraf Uddin handed over the aid among them at a function held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was attended by several notable figures, including Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Nazrul Islam and Additional Superintendent of Police Sharifuzzaman. Members of the martyrs’ families and the injured were also present to receive the much-needed support.
The distribution of aid is part of the district administration’s ongoing efforts to support those affected by the uprising, providing both financial relief and essential items for the upcoming Eid celebrations.
