Habiganj: Two people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Bahubal upazila of the district today. The accident occurred in the Chargaon area around 2:30 pm, resulting in the immediate death of two individuals and injuries to 10 others.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the identities of the deceased have not yet been determined. The head-on collision was reported by ATM Mahmudul Haque, Officer-in-Charge of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station, who confirmed the fatalities and the number of injured individuals.
The injured passengers were promptly taken to Bahubal Upazila Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are likely to investigate the cause of the collision to prevent similar incidents in the future.
