Dhaka: In a nationwide operation to uphold law and order, 1415 more miscreants were arrested in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the detainees, 886 individuals were accused of previous cases and wanted in pending warrants, while 529 others were charged with various criminal offences, as stated in a press release from the Police Headquarters.
During the operation, law enforcement officials successfully seized one foreign-made pistol, one local single-barrel gun, and two magazines, contributing to the ongoing efforts to reduce criminal activities and ensure public safety.
