Dhaka: The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) expressed shock and sorrow at the death of Mahmuda Akter, mother of BFF media manager Sadman Sakib, said a press release today. Mahmuda Akter passed away on Sunday evening at her residence in the capital at the age of 61.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mahmuda Akter is survived by two sons, two daughters, relatives, and many well-wishers who mourn her passing. She was laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard after a funeral prayer held at Dhanmondi Eidgah Mosque ground.
In a condolence message, BFF president Tabith Awal, along with senior vice president, vice presidents, executive committee members, general secretary, all standing committees, and officials and staff of BFF, expressed condolences at the death of Mahmuda Akter and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
