Doha: Qatar will hire 725 Bangladeshi soldiers to serve in various capacities in the country, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam announced today. “The process of hiring the soldiers from Bangladesh will begin within the next two months,” he stated to BSS during the Earthna Summit in Doha.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a high-level Bangladesh delegation, led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, is currently visiting Doha to participate in the Earthna Summit 2025. Alam mentioned that Bangladeshi soldiers have been working in Kuwait for a long time, and Qatar now seeks to hire them on a regular basis as well.
