Training on MS Office and Email Communication Commences at BRUR

Rangpur: A two-day training programme titled ‘Skill Development in MS Office and Email Communication’ commenced virtually at Academic Building-2 of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) today. The event is aimed at enhancing the skills of computer operators working in various departments and offices at the university.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university is organizing this training programme. The initiative is designed to keep participants updated with the latest technological advancements and improve their proficiency in essential digital tools like MS Office and email communication.



The training program was inaugurated by the Vice-chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali, who addressed the gathering as the chief guest. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and urged participants to acquire comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, including computers.



Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam, Director of the university’s IQAC, presided over the event. The training session was also attended by notable figures such as the Registrar of the University, Dr. Md. Harun-or Rashid, and Additional Directors of IQAC, Dr. Md. Abdul Latif and Dr. Md. Abdur Rakib, who participated as special guests.



The training sessions are being conducted by Deputy Registrar of the university’s Center for Digital Transformation, Md. Atiqur Rahman, and Programmer of the ICT Cell, Md. Al Imran, who are serving as resource persons for the event.
