Dhaka: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, five Eid jamaats (congregations) will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque tomorrow. The first jamaat is scheduled to commence at 7am, with the subsequent ones following at 8am, 9am, 10am, and the final jamaat at 10:45am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the first jamaat will be led by Baitul Mukarram Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Muhibbullahil Baki. The second jamaat will be under the leadership of Senior Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman. Subsequent congregations will see Islamic Foundation Muhaddis Dr. Maulana Mufti Waliur Rahman Khan leading the third, with Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, a senior member of the Islamic Foundation, overseeing the fourth.
The fifth and concluding congregation will be led by Islamic Foundation Mufti Md Abdullah. In the case of any imam being unable to conduct their respective jamaat, Maulana Md Jakir Hossain, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation, will assume the responsibility of leading the congregation.
