Dhaka: An emergency meeting of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held today at the party chairperson’s political office in Gulshan. The meeting commenced at 8.40 pm and concluded at 10.20 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was chaired virtually by the Acting Chairman of the party, Tarique Rahman, who joined from London. Discussions centered on contemporary political issues, reflecting the party’s current strategic priorities and concerns.
Present at the meeting were BNP Standing Committee members including Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir (Secretary General), Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salauddin Ahmed, Begum Selima Rahman, and Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, among others. The gathering underscores the party’s ongoing engagement with pressing political matters.
