Sardah: Bangladesh Police Academy in Sardah has discharged three more trainee sub-inspectors (SIs) from the 40th cadet batch on charges of breaching discipline. “They were discharged from their ongoing training on charges of breaching discipline. The discharged trainee SIs were receiving basic training at the academy,” Assistant Inspector General (Media and Public Relations) of Police Headquarters Inamul Haque Sagar told BSS here today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the three trainee sub-inspectors were discharged from their training yesterday after they failed to provide satisfactory responses to show-cause notices issued earlier for breaching discipline on the training ground. The notices had been served on November 12, following an incident where the trainees created chaos during a march, demanding explanations as to why they should not be discharged.

The recent discharge follows a series of similar actions taken against other trainees in the same batch. On October 21, a significant number of
252 trainee sub-inspectors were discharged for breaching discipline, followed by another 58 trainee SIs on November 4 facing similar allegations.
