US Embassy in Dhaka Opens Applications for Cultural Preservation Grant Program.

Dhaka: The US Embassy in Dhaka has announced the opening of applications for the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) Grant Program, which aims to support projects dedicated to preserving cultural heritage.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the available grants range from $25,000 to $500,000, with project durations spanning from one to five years, as stated in a press release by the US Embassy. The initiative seeks to back efforts in preserving historic buildings, archaeological sites, manuscripts, museum collections, and traditional cultural expressions, including indigenous languages and crafts, across over 120 countries.

Applications for the AFCP Grant Program must be submitted by January 14, 2025.
