Dhaka: A total of 787 suspected measles cases have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the latest data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) indicates that 60 confirmed measles patients were admitted to hospitals from 8:00 am Friday to 8:00 am Saturday. The total number of suspected measles patients admitted to hospitals has now reached 4,628, with 2,654 of these patients having recovered and been discharged.
During the same 24-hour period, four suspected measles patients died, increasing the total death toll to 98 since March 15. The health authorities continue to monitor the situation closely to prevent further spread of the disease.
