3 Eateries in Nilphamari’s Saidpur Fined Tk 1.30 Lakh

Nilphamari: A mobile court has fined three eateries a total of Taka 1.30 lakh for violating rules at Bosnia Mour, Jukhapara, and Niyamatpur Bypass markets under Saidpur police station in Nilphamari district. The eateries were penalized on Tuesday afternoon.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the RAB-13’s Rangpur Sadar Company and the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection of Nilphamari jointly initiated and conducted the court proceedings from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The court imposed fines on Faisal Food Products (Taka 30,000), Tara Food Products (Taka 60,000), and Naz Food Products (Taka 40,000) for violations including not using product packaging, mixing prohibited substances in food, and using illegal processes in manufacturing.



The press release further mentioned that RAB-13’s intelligence activities and ongoing operations will continue to enforce the zero-tolerance policy against crimes such as illegal hoarding, selling products at excessive prices, and food adulteration.
