Dhaka: Police today arrested two active members of a professional robbery gang in the city’s Mirpur area. The arrested have been identified as Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman, 29, and Md. Rubel, 32.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police apprehended the duo from Mirpur-11 Bus Stand Area at 12:30 am last night. Police sources revealed that the arrestees are known members of a professional robbery gang. Several cases, including theft, robbery, banditry, and drug-related offenses, have been filed against Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman and Md. Rubel at various police stations.
Further legal action against the arrested individuals is currently underway.
