Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested
two persons allegedly for preparing, keeping and selling cholai wine (locally
made wine) in two separate drives in Nachole upazila of the district on
Saturday.
The arrested were Sunil Murmu and Kabiraj Murmu both of Kaloir Modhyobazar
village under Kosba union of Nachole upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5
conducted two raids at the houses of the aforesaid persons at 10-45 pm and 12
noon on Saturday and arrested the duo with the wine.
Later, the elite force handed them over to the police of Nachole thana with
cases.
