18 Crime Suspects Arrested in 24 Hours in Jatrabari

Jatrabari: In a continued effort to maintain law and order, members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted a drive in Jatrabari Thana area, arresting 18 individuals over the past 24 hours on various charges.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the drive was carried out on Saturday as part of routine law enforcement activities. Among those arrested, six were apprehended in connection with regular cases, three were held in old cases, and five were arrested under outstanding warrants. Additionally, four individuals were detained through mobile court proceedings.



The detained individuals have been identified as Ziaur Rahman (27), Tuhin (22), Arman Hossain (25), Hasan (24), Raju Ahmed Russell (25), Zahid (20), Shah Alam (40), Saikat (19), Hridoy alias Manik Palowan (24), Majed Monju (23), Bazlur Rahman (52), Sani (28), Rony (24), Imam Hossain (42), Sadia Akter (25), Jannat (18), Salma Akter (26), and Arafat Islam (24).



Officials from Jatrabari Police Station stated that such drives will continue as part of ongoing efforts to curb crime and ensure a stable law and order situation in the area.
