T20 World Cup: Quick wickets hurt Bangladesh

Once again Bangladesh lost quick wickets in the powerplay and put themselves on the cliff edge in their final T20 World Cup against Australia on Thursday.

Bangladesh lost four wickets for 33 runs in 6 overs on dashing all hopes of ending the disastrous campaign with a consolation win.

The Tigers lost the first wickets when Liton Das suffered a golden duck in the first over of the match ended his World Cup agony.

In the next over, Soumya Sarkar fell for five. He started well hitting a four early, but once again, failed to carry on— the typical Soumya in this World Cup.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Afif Hossain also failed once again scoring 1 and a duck.

At the end of the sixth over, Bangladesh were batting at 33 for four.
