Dhaka: The 4th Youth (under-17) National Club Weightlifting competition is set to take place at the weightlifting gymnasium from February 18-19, coinciding with the Festival of Youth 2025. This eagerly awaited event will showcase the talents of young athletes from across the nation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 82 boys and girls from fourteen clubs will participate in the two-day meet. The event is being organized by the Bangladesh Weightlifting Federation and will feature competitions in sixteen weight categories-eight for boys and eight for girls.
The Youth National Club Weightlifting competition serves as a platform for young athletes to demonstrate their skills and dedication to the sport. With participants from various clubs, the event promises to be a competitive and exciting showcase of emerging weightlifting talent in the country.
