Magura: A youth was killed in a road accident in the Bilsonai area under Sreepur upazila of the district today. The deceased was identified as Md Habibul Hasan, 18, son of Zakir Sheikh of Bilnathur village of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, family sources revealed that Habibul had gone to Langalbandh area on a motorcycle with a friend after receiving news of his grandfather's death. While returning around 11 am, their motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup van in the area. Habibul died on the spot as a result of the collision.
Sub Inspector Kamruzzaman of Sreepur Police Station confirmed the incident, providing further details on the accident.
