Dhaka: Youngsters must grow up as responsible citizens to build a developed and prosperous nation, stated Habibur Rashid, the State Minister for Road Transport and Highways Division and Railways Ministry, while addressing an audience at Haidar Ali School and College in the Manda-Mugda area of the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the state minister assured the community of full government support in enhancing the educational environment and infrastructure. This assurance was made during his first visit to the institution since being elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) from the area in the February 12 election. Rashid expressed gratitude to the voters, acknowledging that their support inspires him to work more responsibly towards advancing the country’s development activities.
Rashid also highlighted the historical significance of the institution, recalling that Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman had visited the school in 1980, which remains a source of pride. He emphasized the government’s goal of nurturing the future generation in line with the vision of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the ideals of Begum Khaleda Zia, and under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The event was attended by local BNP leaders and activists, teachers, students, guardians, and journalists, who gathered to hear the state minister’s vision for the future.
