Yeasin expects attacking football from boys against Jordan

DHAKA Bangladesh U-19 soccer team captain Yeasin

Arafat said they would take to the field to play an attacking football

against Jordan and expects a competitive match in the field.

He was speaking their preparation and expectation at a pre match session

to the press on Thursday, according to a message received here today from

Bangladesh Football Federation.

Bangladesh will take on strong Jordan in their second group E match

scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in

Manama, Bahrain at 7.15 PM (BST).

The coach made us swimming session in the morning and observed the

condition of the players and we have training in the afternoon and after the

training we will be entirely prepared to play against Jordan, said Arafat.

There is no major injury in the team and everybody is prepared to play

the tomorrow's (Friday's) match.

Striker Maraz Hosain Miraz also echoed the same statement by saying that

they would take to the field to play attacking football against Jordan.

He said Jordan is very good team strong team though we lost the

first match against Bahrain but still we have chance in the competition and

we'll take to the field to win the match.

Bangladesh have been pitted alongside Bahrain, Jordan and Bhutan in the

group E and they will play their third and last group match against South

Asian rivals Bhutan on Sunday (November 10).

Champions of eleven groups and four best runners-up teams will join

Uzbekistan in the final round, which will be held from October 16-31 next

year.

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a 0-3 goal defeat to host Bahrain in their

group E opening match held on Wednesday last.
