Pabna: Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) today celebrated the World Town Planning Day, organized by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Marking the occasion, a colorful procession was initiated from the administrative building of the university at 10 am. The procession was attended by PUST Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal among others, as noted in a release here. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was observed under the slogan 'Planning of the whole country, building up a balanced Bangladesh without discrimination.' The celebration saw active participation from PUST proctor Professor Dr. Kamruzzaman Khan, student counseling and instructions office director Dr. Md Rashedul Haque, chairman of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning Md. Kamrul Hasan, as well as all teachers and students from the department.
