Chuadanga: A day-long training workshop for Hajj pilgrims was held today in the district, with the participation of individuals traveling under both government and private management. The workshop was jointly organized by the Islamic Foundation and the district administration at the Islamic Foundation’s district office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Chuadanga AKM Shahin Kabir presided over the event, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahbub-Ul-Islam was present as the special guest. Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Dr. Shamima Yeasmin and Imam of Court Mosjid Mufti Ruhul Amin served as instructors for the workshop, providing essential guidance and information.
A total of 266 individuals, including 89 women, from the district are set to travel to Saudi Arabia this year for Hajj. Among them, ten pilgrims will be traveling officially. The workshop aimed to prepare the pilgrims by offering practical insights and instructions for their upcoming journey.
