The burnt and decomposing body of an unidentified young woman was recovered from a garbage dump at Bhanga Press in the city’s Jatrabari area on Thursday night.

Informed by a local garbage collector named Shafiq, police recovered the body around 11:30 pm, said Mazahar, Officer-in-Charge of Jatrabari police station.

The body is believed to be 4 to 10 days old and the woman was aged 25 to 30 years, said the OC.
