According to the civil surgeon office, a total of 182 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram today.
Earlier, a total of 2,311 people were infected in July.
A total of 3290 dengue patients have been detected in Chattogram in the last seven months till Aug 5 this year and the number of dead has reached 27 in Chattogram this year.
Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Iliyas Chowdhury emphasized the need for precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of the seasonal disease. He also stressed keeping in and around the house clean.
