Dhaka: A World Bank delegation led by Practice Manager of WB’s South Asian region Agriculture Practice group, Tomas Ricardo Rosada Villamar, met with Food Adviser Ali Imam Majumder at the Secretariat office. The meeting focused on discussing the progress of projects being implemented in the country with financial assistance from the World Bank.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, both parties explored various bilateral issues during the meeting. The discussions emphasized ongoing projects facilitated by World Bank funding and their current status.
The meeting was attended by Food Secretary Md Masudul Hasan, along with senior officials of the ministry and high-ranking officials from the World Bank, reflecting the significance of the discussions in fostering continued collaboration between the two entities.
