Dhaka: Voting turnout reached 32.88 percent by 12 pm today as voters exercised their rights smoothly and spontaneously across polling centers during the 13th national parliamentary election and referendum. Akhter Ahmed, senior secretary of the Election Commission (EC) secretariat, confirmed the figure while speaking to journalists at Nirbachon Bhaban in Agargaon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the voting process continued without interruption, and the Election Commission ensured that all necessary arrangements were in place for a fair and orderly election. The EC emphasized its commitment to transparency and efficiency in managing the electoral process.
