The Victory Day Handball (Men’s and Women’s) Tournament’ 2022, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) on the occasion of the Victory Day, begins here on Monday (December 12) at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan.
Cultural personality, popular actor and sports lover Engineer Abdul Hayat will inaugurate the tournament as chief guest Monday morning at a function to be chaired by BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor.

Four matches– two for men’s and two for women’s–will be held on the opening day (Monday).
In the men’s section, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will play Team Handball, Dhaka at 11:30 am while Bangladesh Ansar and VDP will face Bangladesh Police Handball Club at 2:30 pm on the opening day
In the Women’s section, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP will meet Badolgachi Handball Association at 1 pm while Jamalpur Sports Academy will encounter Bangladesh Police handball Club at 4 pm on Monday.
