To hold up the promise to ensure affordable world-class healthcare, it launched a new cardiac surgery package at Tk 250,000 on the occasion.
Bangladesh’s renowned cardiac surgeon and director of United Cardiac Center Dr. Jahangir Kabir inaugurated the package in a programme organized in the presence of senior doctors, nurses, directors and other senior officials.
On the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director of United Group Mr. Moinuddin Hasan Rashid and CEO of United Healthcare Services Limited and Managing Director of United Hospital Limited Mohammad Faizur Rahman, CFO of United Group Mr. Mostak Ahmmed, CHRO of United Group Md. Nawshad Pervez and board members were present.
Dr Jahangir Kabir, who has already performed more than 25 thousand successful heart surgeries said that the expert cardiac surgeons of his team will perform the surgery under this package.
He was the first surgeon in Bangladesh to implant a mechanical heart in the heart of a 42-year-old woman.
