Chattogram: BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury today urged the party leaders and activists to unite and work by putting their past grievances aside before the national elections slated for February 2026.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Amir Khasru emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among the party members during a meeting at his residence in Chattogram. He highlighted the need for BNP to present itself as a disciplined party, with each member contributing by taking on specific roles such as door-to-door outreach, leaflet distribution, acting as agents, or campaigning.
During the meeting, he also stressed the necessity of developing pro-people election strategies. He encouraged members to set aside past differences and focus on reaching out to the electorate, emphasizing that BNP is a party of the people committed to winning the upcoming election through unity.
The meeting was presided over by City BNP Joint Convener Advocate Abdus Sattar. Other notable attendees included City BNP Joint Conveners Shafiqur Rahman Swapan, Abdul Halim Shah Alam, Kazi Belal, Manjur Alamk, City Mohila Dal President Monowara Begum Moni, and Vice President Sakhina Begum.
