Jessore: The U-17 booters joined the residential training camp for the upcoming SAFF U-17 Championship at Shamsul Huda Stadium in Jessore today. This marks the beginning of their preparation for the regional tournament, which will see teams from across South Asia compete. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the training camp has commenced with thirty-four booters under the supervision of Golam Robbani Choton. The coach is set to focus on intensive training sessions to prepare the young athletes for the challenges of the SAFF U-17 Championship. The SAFF U-17 Championship is scheduled to take place from September 15-27 in Sri Lanka. Seven South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Maldives, and host Sri Lanka, will participate in the event. The tournament is organized by the South Asian Football Federation and aims to foster competitive spirit and sportsmanship among the region's young footballers.
