Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the addition of two new members to the inquiry committee set up to investigate allegations of misconduct in women's cricket.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the newly appointed members are Professor Dr Naima Huq, a former Chair of the Department of Law at the University of Dhaka and current Member of the Law Commission, Bangladesh, and Barrister Muhammed Mustafizur Rahman Khan, a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. These appointments were confirmed in a press release issued by the BCB today.
The inquiry committee is chaired by Justice Tariq ul Hakim, a retired Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. Other members of the committee include Rubaba Dowla, Director of the BCB, and Barrister Sarwat Siraj Shukla, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court and President of the Bangladesh Women's Sports Association.
