Chittagong: Two motorcyclists were killed in a fatal road accident on the elevated expressway in the port city in the early hours of today. The deceased were identified as Md Moktar, 28, and Md Rubel, 36, both residents of the Sadarghat area of the city. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when their motorcycle hit a lamp post on Chattogram Elevated Expressway, leaving the duo dead on the spot. EPZ Thana officer-in-charge Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the incident and stated that the bodies of the victims were sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
