Dhaka: The Judiciary Reform Commission established by the interim government is set to engage in discussions with delegates from the Carter Center and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) tomorrow. This initiative is part of the commission's broader consultation process with various stakeholders. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Commission Secretary Mohammad Faruque, who serves as a district and sessions judge, stated that the commission will meet with a delegation from 'Carter Center Bangladesh' at 10 am. The Carter Center is known for its work on social issues, including human rights and election monitoring. Following this, a separate meeting with FBCCI is scheduled for 3 pm on the same day. Additionally, the commission is planning to conduct discussions with the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission at 2:30 pm on November 11, and a UNDP delegation at 11:30 am on November 18. The commission previously held a meeting with a seven-member delegation of the Supreme Court Bar Association on October 24. To enhance communication with the media and the public, the commission is in the process of developing a website to disseminate information about its activities and engagements.
