Two Motorcyclists Fatally Injured in Sunamganj Collision.

Sunamganj: Two motorcyclists lost their lives following a collision with an auto-rickshaw on the Beheli-Sachna Bazar road in Rajarpur Bijra area under Jamalganj upazila. The tragic incident occurred last night, claiming the lives of Md. Ashiq Noor and Soleman, both aged 35.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased were residents of Alipur village in Beheli union. Md. Ashiq Noor was a Qatar expatriate and was reportedly on leave since a month and a half ago, with plans to return to Qatar on November 30. The accident took place as the duo was returning home from Jamalganj upazila Sadar on a motorcycle. They collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction around 9 PM.

Sub-inspector (SI) Jahangir Alam of Jamalganj Police Station provided details about the incident, stating that both individuals sustained serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to Jamalganj Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared Md. Ashiq Noor dead. Soleman was later transferred t
o the 250-bed District Sadar Hospital for advanced treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
