Tarique Rahman Pledges to Honor Martyrs in State Institutions.

DHAKA: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today announced that several state institutions across the country would be named in honor of the martyrs of the July-August mass upsurge if his party comes to power. He made this announcement while addressing a virtual discussion organized by ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ at the Jatiya Press Club.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tarique Rahman emphasized the importance of remembering the martyrs by naming government establishments after them. He expressed his commitment to support the victims of the July-August movement, highlighting the party’s dedication to preserving the memory of those who lost their lives.

During the program, ten individuals who suffered injuries during the July-August movement were provided with wheelchairs. Tarique Rahman called on affluent members of society to lend their support to the injured. The wheelchairs were handed over by the Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
