Two Killed in Separate Road Accidents in Thakurgaon

Thakurgaon: Two people, including a school student, lost their lives in separate road accidents in Thakurgaon district.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a 16-year-old student named Mosha Naju Akter died after her headscarf became entangled in the wheels of an auto-rickshaw in Thakurgaon municipal town at approximately 8:30 pm. She was immediately taken to Thakurgaon General Hospital and later referred to Rangpur Medical College, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Sarwar Alam Khan confirmed the incident, noting that police visited both the scene and the hospital. He also mentioned that a case has been filed regarding the accident.

In another incident around 9 pm in the Shantipur area of Ranishankail municipality, 45-year-old Rafiqul Islam lost his life when a truck collided with his motorcycle. Ranishankail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Arshedul Haque confirmed this incident as well.

The bodies of both victims have been handed over to their relat
ives.
