Sunamganj: Two people were killed and three others injured in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto rickshaw in the Bahadurpur area in Sadar upazila here today. The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred this afternoon on the Sunamganj-Sylhet highway when a speedy bus collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw. The impact left two CNG passengers dead on the spot and three others injured, said Sub-Inspector Anis of Sunamganj Police Station.
The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital, SI Anis said. The local authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash and prevent future occurrences.
