Dhaka:A court sent two individuals to jail following the completion of their remand in a sedition case related to an attempt to deface a graffiti of Rabindranath Tagore. The incident occurred on a wall in front of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital's Segunbagicha area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accused, Sujon Miah and Sakibul Hasan, appeared before the Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Muhammad Zunaid. The police requested that the court detain them until the investigation concluded, which the court granted.
