Two Armed Forces Division Officials Appointed as Directors of Medical College Hospitals

Dhaka: The government has appointed two Armed Forces Division officials as the new directors of two medical college hospitals on deputation. The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Brigadier General ATMA Rustom has been appointed as the director of Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, while Brigadier General PKM Masud-ul-Islam will take over as director of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Both officers have been promoted from the rank of Colonel to Brigadier General as part of this appointment.



The current directors, Brigadier General Md Mazharul Islam Khan of Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital and Brigadier General FM Shamim Ahammad of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, have been reassigned back to the Armed Forces Division. The notification specified that these changes are to take immediate effect.
