Tangail: Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a truck and a pickup van in the Ravna bypass area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway on Monday. The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Elenga Highway Police Outpost Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Sharif stated that the truck, which was heading towards Jamuna Bridge, collided with the pickup van on the Ravna flyover. The impact of the collision left two people dead on the spot.
The bodies of the deceased were transported to the Tangail General Hospital morgue, while the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. OC Sharif mentioned that the bodies will be handed over to the families after the completion of the legal process.
