Bogura: A truck helper lost his life in a road accident in the Dighalkandi Majhipara area under Shibganj upazila early this morning. The incident took place on the Rangpur-Bogura highway.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 5:30 am when a bus collided with a stationary truck. The driver of the bus reportedly lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision and leaving the truck’s helper critically injured. Despite being rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, the helper succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Kunderhat Highway Police Officer-in-Charge Hafizur Rahman confirmed that the identity of the deceased could not be determined at this time. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about road safety in the region.
