Dhaka:Police have apprehended 'Pichchi Alamin', a notorious terror suspect involved in 27 cases, along with two accomplices during a raid in the Rampura area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were carried out by a team from the Special Response Battalion (SRB-3) on TV Road. The operation also led to the recovery of a foreign-made revolver and five rounds of ammunition from Alamin's possession.
Authorities allege that Alamin was involved in extortion activities, including a recent demand for Tk 20 lakh from Greenzone Online in Banasree and an additional Tk 5 lakh monthly. He is also a suspect in the Kaillya Palash murder case.
