Tongi: A fire that broke out at the Millgate slum in the Tongi area of Gazipur on Monday evening was brought under control.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the fire originated around 7:00 pm, as stated by Md Shahin Alam, senior station officer of Tongi Fire Service. Upon receiving information about the incident, four units of the fire service quickly responded to the scene and managed to control the blaze within 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire could not be determined immediately.
