Bangshal: Three workers suffered burn injuries when a fire broke out at a hardware shop in the city's Bangshal area on Monday. The injured were identified as Miraj, 25, Ifat, 20, and Rocky, 26.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Rafin, the manager of the shop, reported that the fire ignited at the shop on Tekerhat Lane around 11:00 am immediately after an electric switch was turned on. This sudden incident resulted in injuries to the three workers.
The injured workers were promptly taken to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery for treatment. Dr. Shawon Bin Rahman, the resident surgeon at the institute, stated that Ifat suffered burns on 25 percent of his body, Rocky sustained burns on 23 percent, and Miraj was affected by burns on 2 percent of his body.
