Gaibandha: At least three persons, including a newborn baby, were killed and six others injured in a collision between a truck and a battery-run auto bike in the Mousumi Pump area of Gobindaganj-Dinajpur Regional Highway around 2 p.m. this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when a bike collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving four people dead on the spot, as stated by Officer in Charge of Gobindaganj Thana, Bulbul Islam.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately; however, the identity of one person has been confirmed. The injured individuals were admitted to the upazila health complex, as reported by police sources.
