Tarique Rahman Extends Ramadan Greetings to Muslims Worldwide

Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today wished the month of Ramadan would bring a message of peace and happiness to every Muslim’s life and everyone’s life would become auspicious.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in a message on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, Rahman emphasized the duty of every devout Muslim to strive to maintain peace in society by avoiding injustice, violence, and hatred. He highlighted Ramadan as a period of self-restraint, calling on the Muslim Ummah to engage in a unique form of training to gain closeness and blessings from Almighty Allah.



Rahman noted that Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world dedicate themselves to achieving the purity of their souls through fasting, aiming to strengthen their connection to Allah during this sacred month. He referred to Ramadan as a time honored for its mercy, blessings, and forgiveness, where the virtue of every good deed is multiplied many times.



He further remarked, “The month of Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed, guidance for mankind and a clear guidance for those who follow the right path. According to the Hadith, the gates of Hell are closed in this month.”
