Dhaka: BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has participated in a views-exchange meeting with district-level leaders of the ruling BNP and its three associate bodies. The meeting, which began at 10:45 am, is being held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium located in the city’s Farmgate area. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi is presiding over the event.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tarique Rahman is attending the meeting as the chief guest, while Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is present as the special guest. The gathering also includes BNP Standing Committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Selima Rahman, and Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
This meeting marks the first interaction between BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the party’s grassroots leaders since the 13th parliamentary election, which took place on February 12. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi highlighted that the party’s election manifesto and government plans will be presented during the meeting. Additionally, discussions on the party’s organizational activities are expected to take place.
