Chattogram: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced today that the official trophy unveiling ceremony for the Bangladesh-West Indies T20 International series will be held at the century-old Central Railway Building (CRB) in Chattogram. The unveiling ceremony is scheduled to take place at 12pm in front of the historic structure from the British era, with captains of both teams in attendance.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this event is part of the BCB’s ongoing Cricket Tourism initiative in collaboration with the Bangladesh Tourism Board. The initiative aims to promote the country’s cultural heritage through the medium of cricket. The choice of the Central Railway Building as the venue highlights the significance of merging sports with cultural landmarks.

The city of Chattogram is set to host all three T20 Internationals at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium. The matches are scheduled for October 27, 29, and 31, providing an opportunity for local and international fans to witness the series in a city steeped in history.

Both Bangladesh and West Indies teams have already arrived in Chattogram in preparation for the series. This follows the completion of the three ODIs hosted at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, where Bangladesh secured a 2-1 victory.
