Dhaka: As part of the July revival programme, a symbolic marathon is set to be held across all districts tomorrow, prominently featuring the family members of those who were injured or martyred during the July Uprising. Alongside the marathon, a traction-show is scheduled to take place at Rabindra Sarobar Mukta Mancha and Hatirjheel Amphitheater starting from 5.30 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, all private universities will independently organize 'July commemoration' programmes to honor the July Uprising. These events will include screenings of films such as 'Teachers in July' and 'Private Universities in July'. Additionally, Hatirjheel will host screenings of the films 'Private Universities in July' and 'Abrar Fahad', accompanied by songs from July. A unique highlight will be a drone display narrating the story of the internet shutdown on July 18 last year.
Moreover, to further commemorate July 18, a musical video featuring the theme music 'Awaaz Uda' will be circulated on social media platforms under the banner of July 18 remembrance. The ongoing programme will also include a broadcast of part-4 of the documentary "Ekti Shaheed Paribarer Sakshya (Testimony of a martyr's family)" and a remembrance video of a July fighter.
The comprehensive programme will be made accessible to the public through broadcasts on Facebook pages, YouTube channels, and other social media platforms managed by various ministries and departments.
